We recommend that you store the battery at room temperature. The battery must not be stored at temperatures below 5°C or above 20°C. Doing so would have a negative impact on the battery’s performance and service life.
If the battery is not going to be used for a long period, store it in a cool, dry, shaded place. If the battery is not going to be used for a long period, it should be charged once a month. Ideally, it should be kept at a charge level of between 50% and 70%.
Important:
- The battery should be charged for around 5–8 hours after each use.
- The battery should be disconnected from the charger once it has finished charging.
- The battery should not be stored in the boot or in any other place exposed to direct sunlight.
For overwintering:
- Charge the battery for around 5–8 hours.
- Disconnect the battery from the charger.
- Store the battery in a place where temperatures range from around -5°C to 20°C.
- Recharge the battery every 3–4 months for around 5–8 hours.
To ensure that your warranty claim is not invalidated, please adhere strictly to the care and charging guidelines set out above. The manufacturer cannot honour the warranty in the event of misuse or neglect of the battery.
